EzyStep should fit your door striker as its only 16mm in width. It is smaller than the standard of 17mm width door striker of vehicles in Australia.

Yes! Australian Vehicle Standards states that the door strikers of any vehicle should be able to hold up to 2000kgs of vertical force. Using the EzyStep hooked onto your door striker, it can support weight of up to 1000kgs.

No, it won’t. As per regulated safety measures, door strikers on all vehicles must be strong enough to absorb impact of forces of 9000N (~1000kg) in the vertical direction. It is a mandatory that the striker should be able to withstand these forces to pass safety regulations.

As most vehicles have a standard of 17mm (1.7cm) total inside measurement, this is unlikely to happen. Should there be any problem in fit, let us know and we’ll be happy to give you a full refund after the product is returned within the 7-day product warranty.
The EzyStep is compact, sturdy, and durable. It should be able to withstand shipping during transit. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances that the product was damaged, you can reach out to us about it. Should we find that this was due to mishandling of the product while in-transit, we’d be happy to send you a replacement or give you a refund, whichever you prefer.
